Where Is Budget Car Rental at DEN?

Fastbreak Service
Proceed to the Budget counter Fastbreak line/or normal line if no Fastbreak line designation/or follow directions to the Fastbreak Kiosk. Present identification and receive your rental agreement. The counter representative will give the customer the keys & directions to their car.
FASTBREAK RETURN: Follow the airport signs for Car Rental return. You do not need to return to the counter to complete your rental. Record your mileage and fuel level on the rental agreement and drop it in the Budget Fastbreak return box. A closed rental agreement will be mailed to you within 48 hours.
General Directions
COUNTER: All rental transactions are completed at the Customer Service Center at the Budget facility. Take the train to the baggage claim area (Level 5). The customer should step outside to catch the Budget shuttle on Island 4.
CARS: On airport property. Vehicles located approximately 5 - 6 minutes from the terminal.
RETURNS: Take I-70 to Pena Blvd. From Pena Blvd take the "Rental Car" Exit, go left & then make a right onto 78th Ave. Proceed to the Budget car rental lot.
DRIVERS CIRCLE
When you arrive, go to the Budget counter in the baggage claim area. The manager or key person will have your contract ready and personally escort you to your vehicle.
Valet Return: If offered, you will be told about our service as you are escorted to your car.
After-hours Returns
Open 24 hours.
Note - The Budget shuttle bus only runs until 1230am or until the last flight arrives. The shuttle does not resume again until 330am. The customer must find own transportation between 1230am-330am.

Denver Intl Airport Travel FAQs

The Denver International Airport (known by locals as DIA) covers 33,534 acres, making it the largest airport in the United States and one of the biggest in the world. But many other features make it unique: DIA is filled with interesting art exhibits, shops and restaurants, and even an ice rink. The airport also offers conveniences like great Wi-Fi access, water bottle filling stations, and a pet hotel.

No, the Denver International Airport is the only commercial airport operating out of Denver and the only international airport within the state. However, there are several small regional airports in Denver’s suburbs, including the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield and the Centennial Airport in Englewood. 

The Denver airport has only one terminal. The terminal has three concourses A, B, and C. Access to airline gates within the terminal is through security checkpoints on floors five and six of the airport. Airline gates are designated A, B, or C to match their corresponding concourse, followed by the gate number. 

Arriving early at DIA will ensure travelers have plenty of time to check-in and get through security lines. You’re advised to arrive at least two hours before flight departure for domestic travel, and three hours before departure if flying internationally. 

The time it takes to get through DIA security lines depends on the time of day and year. Those traveling during the holidays could experience long wait times, while travelers during slow periods could make it through security in just minutes. The Denver International Airport only has one terminal, the Jeppesen Terminal. There are three concourses within the terminal. The only gates that can be walked to are those in Concourse A. To reach concourses B and C, you must use the Denver International Airport Automated Guideway Transit System (the intra-airport train).

Denver International Airport is about 25 miles from downtown Denver. You can reach the downtown area in about 40 minutes with your car rental during normal traffic conditions. However, we recommend that you plan for a longer drive time during rush hour traffic or during inclement weather.
