Does Budget have special requirements for long-term car rental?
Our monthly car rental rates are available for rentals that last between 28 and 330 days. Beyond that, Budget only requires renters to meet our general rental requirements, including the following:
Age Requirements: You must be at least 21 to rent a car with Budget in most states. In Michigan or New York, you must be at least 18. Keep in mind that renters under 25 are subject to additional restrictions and fees.
Credentials and Deposits: You must have a valid driver’s license and a debit or credit card to book and pick up a long-term car rental with Budget. In addition, renters under the age of 25 must present a credit card except in New York, and some Budget locations do not accept debit cards.
Smoke-Free Policy: Smoking is never permitted in any Budget vehicle to help ensure our vehicles remain clean and fresh.

Yes, you can get a car rental for a month! Keep in mind that renting once for a longer duration and renewing your rental on a monthly basis will change pricing.
Yes, you definitely can get a car rental for 3 months. The longer you rent, the more you save!
Renting vs. leasing offers many benefits (see above). Budget offers long-term car rental for 6 months or more. Just let us know the time period and learn how much you can benefit.
While we don’t offer car rental over a year long, you can always rent a car for up to 11 months at a time! You will be able to add up savings this way.
