Joe Ferraro was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer for Avis Budget Group in June 2020, following a six-month period as interim CEO.

Prior to this, Mr. Ferraro served as President, Americas, for Avis Budget Group. In this role, Mr. Ferraro was responsible for the Company’s Avis, Budget, Payless and Zipcar brands in North and South America, including Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Ferraro was previously Senior Vice President of Operations, North America, where he oversaw all Avis and Budget car and truck rental operations in the United States and Canada, including airport and local market locations. He has 40 years of experience with Avis Budget Group, holding various positions of increasing responsibility.

Mr. Ferraro holds a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.

Izzy Martins was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Avis Budget Group in January 2024.

Prior to this role, Ms Martins held various strategic and financial roles with the Company, including Executive Vice President, Americas from 2020 to 2024; Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Americas, from 2014 to 2020; Senior Vice President and Acting Chief Accounting Officer from 2010 to 2014; and Vice President of Tax from 2006 to 2010.

Ms Martins was Director of Tax Planning and Mergers & Acquisitions of Cendant Corporation (as the Company was formerly known) from 2004 through 2006. Prior to joining the Company, she served Deloitte & Touche LLP for seven years.

Ms Martins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Juris Doctor Degree from Seton Hall University in New Jersey.

Brian Choi moved in to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer for Avis Budget Group in January 2024. Mr Choi joined Avis Budget Group in August 2020 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Mr Choi served on the Board of Directors of the Company from 2016 to 2020. Mr Choi was a partner at SRS Investment Management, LLC and certain affiliates and served in various roles at SRS from 2008 to 2020. Previously, Mr Choi served as an analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group at Lehman Brothers.

Mr Choi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard University.

Anna Pawlak-Kuliga was named President of International at Avis Budget Group in November 2024. In this role, Ms. Pawlak-Kuliga is responsible for overall leadership of the Company’s international region, which includes Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), Asia, Australia and New Zealand.  

Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Ms. Pawlak-Kuliga served in various leadership roles at IKEA, a Swedish Retailer, including Global CFO, Group CEO and President in China and CEO in Poland. 

Ms. Pawlak-Kuliga has a Master of Law and Administration from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland.  

Ned Linnen has been Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer since January 2015. In this role, he oversees Avis Budget Group’s global human resources activities including organizational development, labor and employee relations, talent acquisition and diversity strategies, total rewards strategies, equal employment compliance, health and safety, and employee engagement initiatives.

Mr Linnen joined Avis Budget Group in 2001, and has since held positions of increased responsibility, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources for North America, Vice President of Labor Relations, Vice President of International Human Resources, Vice President of Domestic Human Resources, and Field Human Resources Director.

Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Mr Linnen served in various positions within human resources at Kraft Foods Inc. and Nabisco, Inc.

Mr Linnen holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development from Misericordia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources and Psychology from King’s College.

Ravi Simhambhatla was named Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Innovation Officer for Avis Budget Group in July 2022. In this role, Mr Simhambhatla leads Avis Budget Group’s global technology organization.

Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Mr Simhambhatla served in various technical leadership roles at Google, United Airlines, Aer Lingus, and Tesla Motors. 

Mr Simhambhatla has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Richmond College located in the United Kingdom.  

Andres Barry joined Avis Budget Group in July 2024 as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Americas. In this role, Mr Barry leads Avis Budget Group’s Sales, Marketing, Pricing and Customer Experience functions in the Americas. 

Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Mr Barry served in various commercial leadership roles at JetBlue and Boston Consulting Group. 

Mr Barry has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Goizueta Business School, Emory University.

James Adams was named Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, International in November 2024. In this role, Mr. Adams leads Avis Budget Group’s Sales, Marketing, Pricing and Customer Experience functions for the international market.   

Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Mr. Adams held various commercial leadership roles at SIXT, Booking.com and Rentalcars.com.  

Mr. Adams has a Master of Arts and Master of Science from the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England

Jean Sera is the Company’s Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary, a role she assumed in March 2020. In this role, Ms. Sera is responsible for the Company’s global Legal Department, which includes the Compliance function. 

Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Sera held the title of Senior Vice President & Corporate Secretary from August 2006 and also held the title of Global Program Manager from August 2016-March 2020. Previously, Ms. Sera was a Vice President in the Legal Department of Cendant Corporation (as the Company was formerly known) from January 2002 to August 2006 where she supported the Finance function. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Sera was an associate with the law firm of Shearman & Sterling in New York.

Ms. Sera has a BA from the University of New Hampshire and a JD from Boston University.

John O’Neill was named Senior Vice President, U.S. Operations in July 2024. In this role, he is responsible for all U.S. Field Operations including Supply Chain, Fleet Operations, and Workforce Management. 

Mr O’Neill’s 34-year career with Avis Budget Group spans various senior leadership roles, both field and functional, across the country and headquarters.  

Mr O’Neill joined Avis Budget Group with a bachelor’s degree in business management and administration from the University of Miami.

David Calabria was named Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance, and Treasurer in July 2019. In this role, he is responsible for the Company’s Treasury, Investor Relations, Accounting, Transformation, Tax, and Internal Audit functions.

Mr. Calabria joined Avis Budget Group in 2004 as a member of the Treasury team and held roles of increasing responsibility throughout the finance organization, including Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer from 2014 to 2019 and Vice President and Assistant Treasurer from 2011 to 2014.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Calabria worked as a Vice President in ABS Conduit Administration at JPMorgan Chase and as an auditor for Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

A CPA, Mr. Calabria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Notre Dame.
